Every plan comes with a monthly token allowance. Tokens are simply the unit we bill tutoring in. They let a five-minute question cost a fraction of what a full ninety-minute lesson costs, instead of charging both the same.
The conversion
One hour of live board tutoring costs 50 tokens. So the Starter plan's 500 tokens is roughly ten hours of tutoring a month, and Scholar's 1,500 is about thirty.

- A follow-up question inside a lesson, about 3 tokens
- A minute of voice tutoring, about 2 tokens
- Generating a practice set, about 5 tokens
- Exporting notes, 1 token
Making an allowance last
- 1Replaying a saved lesson is free. Revise from the library, not from a new session.
- 2Batch your questions into one lesson rather than starting five short ones.
- 3Use text mode for quick checks and save voice for the topics you need to talk through.
- 4Let the tutor generate one practice set per topic, then work through it offline.
